Wrong information by Redbus caused a lot of agony

I had booked a bus ticket for my brother for 28-May-12 from Pune to Nagpur in a bus which was scheduled to depart at 10.15 from the designated stop at Akurdi. The contact number and travel agent name given for pickup point were absolutely of no use as they didn't have any idea of that bus and its stoppage. When I went to drop my brother at the pickup point, there was absolutely no one to help or guide to tell which is our bus. There were lot of buses coming and going and we were literally running here & there for each bus to know if it is our bus.

Secondly and most pathetical was that the bus reached Nagpur at 3PM on 29-May-12 while it was supposed to reach there at 11.30 AM. Please note that this delay was due to no reason. As per the driver of the bus, the bus has reached Nagpur at right time and travel company might have told or mentioned wrong arrival time and this bus daily reaches at this time only 3.30PM.

Thirdly, while the Redbus has charged highest bus fare (of Rs 1200/-)for this route for this bus, the bus was in very bad condition. Though the bus was supposed to be a AC sleeper bus with modern entertainment amenities, the actual was a drastic contrast. Moreover it looked like a recently converted non-AC bus to AC bus as it still had sliding window doors which I think is an exception in AC buses. The seats were filthy and giving bad smells.

When I complained about all this by calling Redbus helpline number, they simply said that my brother should continue his journey and we can provide our feedback about the service or bus. Is this all we can do about this cheating after paying exorbitant fare amount?
