Lol that was funny......marriage is being held in Pakistan i believe, Sania has applied for visa
Comfortably_dumb answered 30 Mar, 10, 4:52 PM
Just wondering whether it'll last longer than Sania's previous engagement.
derebail2009 added 30 Mar, 10, 4:53 PM
Track record states that it will be double fault......
spirited answered 30 Mar, 10, 6:51 PM
Holy Cow!!! Now will she also give up Indian nationality? Or is it to reciprocate the great Pak gesture when Miandad married off his son to one of the most eligible NRI spinster, namely daughter of Dawood Ibrahim?
derebail2009 added 30 Mar, 10, 7:02 PM
Of course that is one concern for all Indians, will she give up Indian nationality like M F and many others. They plan to settle in Dubai i believe.
spirited answered 30 Mar, 10, 7:04 PM
Did not expect that a national icon of Indian sports will marry a Pakistani, I am sure it has blessings of Dawood Ibrahim!
spirited answered 30 Mar, 10, 7:08 PM
She was a hyped star, she did not finally live up to expectations and so will be forgotten with time, his father did a lot nautawanki during the last 10 years of her sports career. Somebody told me that there was a rumour that she was almost going to marry Azzaruddin at some point - LOL, is it true?
derebail2009 added 30 Mar, 10, 7:13 PM
Of course dubai has been the den of dawood in the past, this is very interesting poser for everybody. Match fixing was triggered obviously from Dubai Lol
derebail2009 added 30 Mar, 10, 7:16 PM
Whether she was hyped star or not ? she was always been the favourite of the Papparazi for speculation and news. I would now look at Saina the star on the horizon. Let Sania rest on past laurels
derebail2009 added 30 Mar, 10, 8:03 PM
I dont know about her link up with AZHAR, but heard about link up with Mahesh in some websites, anyways rumours will keep floating as long as Sania is star for the media.
cosmicbomber answered 30 Mar, 10, 8:45 PM
It may not be politically correct to say but the fact is that she became a icon is more for her well endowed bosom than tennis, and after considering the fact that tennis is not a mass sport in India.
Well, her father was the man who questioned whether tennis can't be played with more conservative dresses but Sania probably did not like her father's subject :) By the way, most of the endorsement she did was for the public sector and they surprisingly kept her in spite of her losses in the last 2 years, may be to uphold secular image of the country, now her decision to ditch her fiance and marry disgraced Pakistani cricketer is even more secular in nature and can be interpreted as a great step in CBM between the two very friendly neighbors. RP_Singh answered 30 Mar, 10, 9:21 PM
Can we expect nationalism from people who get disproportionate money for their achievements? Either India has to wield power in the world or always will be on the receiving side.
derebail2009 added 30 Mar, 10, 9:59 PM
CB....Of course public sector propped her up, it was HP who used her endorsement. She became an icon by default and was a symbol of emancipation, but now her status will go back in ages i presume.
derebail2009 added 30 Mar, 10, 10:01 PM
Well in this case where is the ? of Nationalism, it is only professionalism and personal choice. Thank god we are still a vibrant democracy and secular
derebail2009 added 31 Mar, 10, 8:56 AM
Sania says she will support husband while he is playing for pakistan and India in general, what a dichotomy ? Many consider this marriage will better Indo Pak relationship, maybe in form of more Indian girls getting married to Pakistanis Lol
Ranger answered 31 Mar, 10, 11:07 AM
What is preventing her to take up a Pakistani citizenship?
derebail2009 added 31 Mar, 10, 11:22 AM
Of course she and likes are welcome to take up Pakistani citizenship, it is a democratic world after all. The more the merrier and better i suppose
maaz_nawaz answered 31 Mar, 10, 12:09 PM
Today I read that the couple will settle in Dubai after their marriage. Going back to the past, the success ratio of cross border wedding is very less. I dont know how long he marriage will survive. Anyhow all the best to Sania & Shoaib.

The law of Karma is bound to catch up sooner or later, what one sows will he reap Mr Mazhar. Let us wait and watch the development on the sidelines.
spirited answered 31 Mar, 10, 3:35 PM
Good to see you back Singh Ji! Ranger, she might take the citizenship of Pakistan after some time, if UAE offers her she will definitely grab it!!
derebail2009 added 31 Mar, 10, 3:38 PM
What difference does it matter to us whether she takes up citizenship of Pakistan or UAE or even Qatar where M F Hussian has taken refuge.
derebail2009 added 31 Mar, 10, 3:40 PM
Singh is king and he is back, hope he will rock admanya once again, I hope Hari also comes back to create some hungama.

Could you tell hy Shoaib Mailk is eager that Sania teams up with Pakistani tennis ace Quereshi in mixed doubles and shake her bon bon?
spirited answered 03 Apr, 10, 1:04 PM
Holy Cow!!! This is an interesting turn even before the knot is tied!

Well there is more to come, the chapter is not going to end, with ayeesha claiming that Shoaib should divorce public not privately. Her claim is legitimate since she deserves her alimony for her future.
derebail2009 added 03 Apr, 10, 10:52 PM
Well DEV, this marriage is full of controversy.....since both have faulted once......double fault, what a way to begin life

RP_Singh answered 05 Apr, 10, 11:30 AM
Bal Thackeray said "Had Sania's heart been Indian, it wouldn't have beaten for a Pakistani. If she wished to play for India, she should have chosen an Indian life partner." What do you think about his comments?
RP_Singh answered 05 Apr, 10, 11:32 AM
And Pakisani press Dawn takes a dig at her saying, "Couldn't she just find a nice Indian boy?" It is a shame, let her leave the country, the earlier is better.
derebail2009 added 05 Apr, 10, 7:46 PM
@ RP Singh, Sania has already ditched her childhood mate Shorab, so it is obvious where her heart lies.
derebail2009 added 05 Apr, 10, 7:48 PM
@ R P Singh it is a breaking dawn news, she feels that Indian boys are not suited for Lol. Anyways it is her choice let her go and settle in karachi or wherever she wants.
