W.A.L.S Strikes - If men don't, women won't!!

Bangalore, November 7, 2009: For centuries, women have spent valuable time and money to groom themselves for the men in their lives. They have endured endless pain to look a tad bit special and never once complained about men's outright lazy behavior towards shaving. But that ends now¦ Women all over India are finally taking a stand towards unshaven men through the launch of the movement W.A.L.S (Women Against Lazy Stubble)

Men have always been fastidious about their women from waxing, painting their nails, plucking their eyebrows everything was expected from the woman, yet women have endured these selfish habits of men without expecting too much in return. But there always is a give and take in every facet of life¦. Now its time for women to take back their rights W.A.L.S is here to do just that, to give women that very opportunity to take a firm stand and get rid of lazy men and their lazy stubble. Nice and patient women are a thing of the past.

The group's mission is simple if women can spend hours in an effort to look good, then why can't men spend a mere 5 minutes of their time to look civilized and groomed? Face it, no one needs that lazy stubbled gruffy look, it only demonstrates a lack of discipline in one's life. It is a proven fact that clean-shaven and groomed men are more sensitive to women's feelings, given their understanding of what it takes to make an effort.

The rationale behind the launch of W.A.L.S is to bring together all women in India who detest unshaven men and to start a movement that says NO MORE EXCUSES FOR MEN'S LAZY STUBBLE. W.A.L.S has recently begun its Facebook group to attract women who face these situations, giving them an opportunity to air out their grievances on an interactive platform and take a stand of EQUALITY for both genders.

It is time that women finally demand what was demanded of them for eons. FOR ALL THOSE MEN WHO ARE TOO LAZY TO SHAVE, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT, BECAUSE INDIAN WOMEN ARE ON A MISSION TO WIN.

W.A.L.S envisions strong expansion plans in the country, enlisting the participation of women in a number of activities like interactive forums, film festivals and workshops to spread the core message of the movement. Going one step further, W.A.L.S is looking to sign on a few women celebrities, who identify with and support the stand of these brave women to spread the message of the clean-shaven, confident look over the lazy and scruffy stubbled look. W.A.L.S will have a sponsor that will help create more exposure for their vision in India.

Through its initial start-up, W.A.L.S is looking to invite women from across the country to write in with their stories on their perception of the clean-shaven vs the unshaven look, things they might have done to get men to shave and any other stories that they would like to share with other women on one interactive platform.
