Heineken Green Room debuts in India
Bangalore, June 11th, 2012: Heineken, the iconic global beer brand that has found favour among well-heeled gentlemen around the world is steadily growing its presence in India. Already ubiquitous in the key metro cities across India, the Dutch-born icon is stepping up its activities, in line with the brand's spirit and positioning, Open Your World. And this time, it's doing it through its longstanding and well-established association with Music, as it introduces Heineken Green Room in India.
A series of exclusive, invite-only events, Heineken Green Room will showcase international dance music artists with interesting music that perfectly complement the beer moment.
The first Heineken Green Room will be held across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, on June 20th, 22nd and 24th respectively, and will showcase American-born DJ/Producer/Electronic Artist: Mux Mool.
Bending conventions as much as genres, Mux Mool is an artist whose following has grown exponentially online and is well known for his love for social media as a means to spread music. His hard-to-box music also makes him the perfect candidate for Heineken Green Room. Skulltaste, his sonic tour de force features everything from eclectic ambient loops that merge with mono-vocal samples in one track to a happy clap-clap aesthetic reminiscent of French disco circa 1990 in another. Resolutely electronic and unfailingly charming, Mux Mool's sound is a textural delight that has left audiences from Chicago to his hometown New York, asking for more. And chances are he will have much the same effect here.

Whether it's the Coachella and Ultra Music festivals in the US, Rock in Rio in Brazil, the Open'er Festival in Poland, Balaton Sound in Hungary, or the Sandance Festival in Dubai, Heineken's involvement with music has always been as eclectic as its audience. Having established its reputation of supporting musical experiences around the world, Heineken is set to continue this association here in India with Heineken Green Room.
Heineken Green Room kicks off in New Delhi on 20 June 2012 followed by events in Mumbai and Bangalore on 22 June and 24 June respectively.
