Funskool India Ltd, India's leading Toy Company takes Rummikub - one of the World's best selling games to an International level. The Rummikub game has gained popularity over the years and Funskool is all set to organize a series of regional and national level competitions in India to pick one person to participate in the 'World Rummikub Championship' to be held in Sicily, Italy in the month of November 2012.
The idea behind this is to pick the best Rummikub player from India to participate in the World Rummikub Championship 2012. Rummikub Numbers is a unique, fast-paced numbers game of tile manipulation. Funskool India Ltd will be conducting regional levels of competitions for children aged 12 years and above. The National championship will kick off on the 2nd of June2012 â Saturday in Delhi, followed by Mumbai on 9th June, Kolkata on 16th June and Bangalore on 30th June 2012 respectively. The winner from each of the regional rounds will participate in the finals which will also be held in Bangalore on 30th June 2012. The winner of the finals in Bangalore will be sent to Italy by Funskool India Ltd. The WRC was first held in 1991 with 12 Countries and the last championship was conducted in 2009 with more than 30 countries participating in the same. Funskool India Ltd is extremely honored to be sending an Indian representative for the first time for a mega board game event like this.
