There's a saying, One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter...

Brother Maaz, this is very true and I hope our friends like Kalagulab, daaany, Singh and other also realize the same. Did not the British designate Netaji Subhas Bose also as a terrorist?

How can you call Laden a freedom fighter? His ideology was based upon Islam, which does not have any universal appeal. By destroying World trade centre and by killing many innocent people Laden had spread only terrorism. Some people are unnecessarily trying to glorify Laden who was basically a terrorist, an Islamic fundamentalist inspired by Koran. British did not like Netaji because he fought for India's freedom, but he had never ever killed any civilian or resorted to mass destruction. Maj's statement "One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter" is only oversimplification. Osama only deserves status of a criminal,a mass murderer. for Allha's sake don't call him a freedom fighter.

One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter... This is a general statement not related to any particular person. BTW Osama was a freedom fighter for his followers. He started off as a freedom fighter, a Mujahideen, against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. Also fighting against the corrupt Saudi regime & USA...
