Boys Studying The Holy Quran

The Holy Quran is at the center of Muslim life. Muslims recite verses from it in their daily prayers and at all important public and private events.

Before touching the holy book, Muslims follow rituals for purification, including washing and preparing the mind, body, and spirit. Care must be taken that the Quran does not come into contact with any unclean substance, and it is never to be laid upon the ground. Also a Muslim should be prepared to lay down his life and become a martyr to defend any desecration of the holy book by infidels.

The etymological meaning of the Quran is to read. It is a book which is like a fathomless and boundless sea. One has to dive in to it to fetch the pearls of wisdom.

Few citations from the writings for some non-Muslim scholars about the Quran may seem befitting.

Thomas Carlyle says: Sincerity, in all sense, seems to me the merit of the Quran.”

J.C. Wilson opines: “The Quran is the most esteemed and most powerful religious Book in the world.”

Harry Gaylord Dorman states: “It is a literal revelation of God, dictated to Mohammad by Gabriel, perfect in every letter.”

Who are these non-Muslim scholars?

Koran has created the whole new branch of Islamic caligraphy which is almost a lost art now.

Koran also talks about how to do sex and when to do it, with whom, with how many etc. The circumcision is all about sex, to keep the male organ stimulated and late ejaculation. I have read in one of the hadiths about a concept called Al-Azl (coitus interruptus). it means to retrieve male sex organ out of female sex organ before ejaculation. And also search in google for Quran 2-223 and you will really pity the islamic women.

A few Surahs from the Holy Koran(Oxford University Press-The world's clasics -Translated by A J Arberry)-

1) The House of Imran,144" We will cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers ..their lodging shall be the fire"

2) Women,59" Surely those who disbelieve in our signs.. we shall certainly roast them at fire: as often as their skins are wholly burnt, we shall give them in exchange other skins, and they may taste the chastisement. Surely God is all mighty, All-wise"

@ Bigman, I don't see anything wrong with Al-Azi, may be more awareness is to be made about Al-Azi to control population! Glad to know that "Kamasutra" is also packaged in Koran, it makes life simpler as one book covers everything.

Al-Azl was practiced on women captured in raids. The prophet lead marauders would first enjoy the women themselves before selling them off as slaves. If a woman gets pregnant she wont be worth a good deal. They used to practice Al-Azl until muhammad abolished the practice as described in a hadith Sahih Muslim, Book 8 Chapter 22

The guy in the picture is suppressing his feelings with both his hands. I wonder, Which verse of the quran might he be reading.
