Azharuddin's son passes away Hyderabad, Sep.16 (ANI): Former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin's son Ayazuddin, died on Friday, five days after being critically injured in a road accident.

Confirming the nes, doctors at the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad said Ayazuddin had sustained critical injuries after a high-end sports bike he was driving skidded off the road at Puppalguda on Outer Ring Road (ORR) here last Sunday.

Ayazuddin's cousin, Ajmal-ur-Rahman (16) who was riding pillion, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

Ayazuddin is the youngest of the two sons of Azharuddin from his first wife Naureen, whom he divorced to marry former actress Sangeeta Bijlani.

In a medical bulletin issued on Thursday evening, Apollo Hospitals (Central Region) CEO Dr K Hari Prasad said, "Brain function tests conducted on Ayazuddin indicate brain dysfunction. And his status remains critical."

All that is in heaven and earth gives glory to Allah. He is the Mighty, the Wise One.

His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He ordains life and death and has power over all things.

He is the first and the last, the visible and the unseen. He has knowledge of all things.

Every soul shall taste death. We will prove you all with good and evil. To Us you shell be recalled.

Allah takes away men's souls upon their death, and the souls of the living during their sleep. Those that are doomed He keeps with Him and restores the others for a time ordained. Surely there are signs in this for thinking men.

May his soul rest in peace. His untimely death hopefully will serve a stern warning to young men (and their parents) who engage in drag racing on streets without proper training or care.
