Leona Lewis Bleeds Love for Bunny

Bleeding Love star LEONA LEWIS shelled out $100 to save a rabbit from ending up as a tramp's dinner and took it home as her new pet adding to her list of pets which includes a rottweiler dog and an abandoned horse.

The vegetarian pop singer, was out shopping in Los Angeles when she spotted a homeless man sitting with a white bunny.

Curious Leona asked the man what he was planning to do with the animal, the shock reply came: "Don't know - probably eat it."

She immediately asked the tramp to sell her the rabbit to spare its life. The man asked for $20 but generous Leona gave him the hundred-dollar bill and told him to spend it on food. Leona then took her new pet back to her home and named it Melrose after the street where she found it.

Leona thinks herself as the proud owner of this new white rabbit which she is keeping in her garden.

What a great thing you did, Leona, now the bunny can run in the garden without the fear of being cooked for dinner!

Leona is a huge animal rights supporter, last year she turned down a 1 million pound offer from Harrods to open their summer sale because the swanky store sold fur.

This is how they are pampering the water beast!

Hello! Someone wrote in my earlier blog that I am telling lies and there is no pampering and so here goes the proof!

Vets spent four hours drilling the crocodile's skull together after it was smashed by a car, leaving the beast a protected species - unable to eat.

Ron Magill, of Miami Metrozoo, said: "Robocroc is doing fine.
There has been surgery on crocs before but not to this extent."

So meet the Robocroc ÃÂ the 10 ft reptile with FOUR METAL PLATES and 41 SCREWS in his head.

What a luxury? These water beasts are chopping off heads of school children and we are repairing them by tax payer's money. Still would you say that there is no pampering?

Why are we pampering the water beast?

In a ghastly incident a girl aged ten was decapitated by a monster crocodile which capsized her boat.

The youngs girl and a pal were paddling to their floating school when the 23 ft beast bumped their canoe, toppling it over. Her classmate was rescued by another boat but she was not so fortunate.

The water monster decapitated her and her headless body was found three days later in Mihaba Lake in the Philippines. The school has been closed and homes around the lake evacuated.

Massive salt water crocodiles ome bigger than a bus live in the lake and many other places in the world including Australia.

Why we are pampering this water beast? We should eradicate these creatures without losing time.

Croc snacks on shark!

I would love to report just another wild encounter in Down Under and it just happened in front of my friend's eyes (I am winking ;)

Shocked fishermen watched as a saltwater crocodile went ahead and picked up a shark for a snack. The 4.5 metre crocodile took on the bite-size shark in a brief, but dramatic battle on the Wildman River, east of Darwin.

The attack took place only metres from a boatload of surprised fishermen. Craig Van Lawick was one of those experienced fisherman of Australia aboard the boat but was unsure about the type of shark involved, saying it was eaten too quickly to be identified.

Why Jade Goody has to die before camera?

It is saddening to know that a young mother of two kids has only few months to live as doctors broke the news to Jade Goody last week about her terminal cancer. The reality TV star was diagnosed with cancer last August and finally the doctor's have given up all hope as the cancer has spread to the liver and bowels, so Jade has to die but the way this sad affair has been handled is actually becoming a little too much appalling.

Jade is a British celebrity and she has captivated the nation for the last several years through ups and downs in her personal life, she is known for her brashness, racial slur and habits like drug addiction and alcoholism and lived a reckless life. Her father, Andrew Robert Goody was of mixed race, was also a drug addict and habitual criminal, who served prison sentences including a four-year term for robbery. He died of a drugs overdose at the age of 42.

After the doctors broke the final news to Goody, her lover Jack Tweed, who is serving a prison sentence for assaulting a 16 year old boy with Golf club proposed her and Goody is known to have struck a deal with OK magazine and a TV channel that will fetch her 1 million pounds for the exclusive photos of the wedding and a program called Jade's progress which is supposed to literally film dying Goody on television. 27-year-old Jade Goody sees no reason to turn the cameras off now!

This development has crossed all levels of human dignity and it is not clear that who is exploiting whom, is it Goody who is having the last laugh and exploiting the tabloid and TV or the other way round?

Her publicist has told the press that Goody is doing this for three reasons, 1) to make money not for buying lamborghini or a big house but to secure two small boy's future, 2) to educate women about the dangers of cervical cancer and 3) to overcome the horror of the last days of her life by living in the spot light. But are they justifiable reasons?

Given the track record of the family, does anyone expect that the money will be really spent on the boys? The father of the boys who is going to live after Goody is already a convict and it is everyone's guess what kind of options he will be having as the custodian of the boys with a million in the bank. Also Goody need not do this drama, given her popularity, if she makes an appeal to people I think she can easily collect a decent sum for her kids if she is really worried about their future financial needs.

Coming to the second point, then many will argue with the same logic capital punishment should be served in a public square as they are carried out in Iran and Saudi Arabia so that it serves as an education to the people. Similarly, crimes like rape, murder etc. can be shown in details in TV to make society feel the pain of the victim. I am totally clueless as what is happening with the British society as this is nothing but a very cheap publicity stunt, the hollowness of the social and moral fabric is reflected when Gordon Brown actually supported Goody's stunt acts.

Now, to the last point, my question to the press and media,would they have cared if it was not Goody. So many single women and children are dying every day even in the western world, is there anyone to stand by their side? If the TV wants to show a live documentary of pain and horror that death brings let them show the civilian deaths of innocent victims of terrorism and war, they would be a much better subject than Jade Goody.

My sympathies are with her and her family at this difficult time but I feel that the whole thing has been trivialized by her greed for money and fame. I may be wrong in my judgment but I wanted to write about it.

A Different 2020 Vision: 1000 Malayan Tigers to roam in the wild

We all know something about the Vision 2020 of our dear ex President A P J Abdul Kalam that India will become a developed nation. Although our politicians are trying their best to shatter this man's dream but this is a very different 2020 vision.

Malaysia has launched an ambitious plan to double its wild tiger population within 12 years by protecting jungle corridors where poachers prey on the endangered big cats.

The National Tiger Action Plan aims to have 1,000 Malayan tigers roaming in the wild by 2020, said Sara Sukor, a spokeswoman for Malaysia's chapter of the World Wildlife Fund, one of several conservation groups that helped the government create the plan.

Authorities estimate Malaysia's wild tiger population has fallen from 3,000 to 500 in the last half-century, largely due to illegal hunting and the human encroachment and destruction of the tigers' natural jungle habitat. Tiger meat is exported, served at exotic restaurants and used in traditional Chinese medicine - all illegal acts under Malaysian law.

Malayan tigers have been protected by wildlife laws since the early 1970s, but the National Tiger Action Plan is the government's first concerted effort to reverse the population decline instead of merely slowing it, according to the plan that was launched this month.

Government officials and conservationists will restore and manage key jungle corridors that connect tiger habitats, providing the animals with a wider territory and mitigating the impact of infrastructure such as roads, railways and oil pipelines.

Our prime minister also did made some pledge to protect this majestic animal under severe international criticism and shame but it was not much more than appearing on television and reading out from a price of paper. The only thing that has been done so far was airlifting two cats to Sariska where the poachers just cleared off the entire tiger population. It seems India has become the offcial supplier to China's Tiger Balm and Tiger Meat industries.

Who says India and China are adversaries?

7 year old Aussie Kid Goes on Zoo Rampage

A seven-year-old boy has been filmed going on the rampage at a popular zoo in Australia, killing rare reptiles and feeding live ones to a crocodile.

Footage from the security cameras at Alice Springs Reptile Centre caught the child smiling as he killed a total of 13 animals.

During his 30-minute spree, he was seen hurling the animals over the security fence into the crocodile enclosure. Over and over, the kid is seen snatching up the defenceless creatures and turning them into lunch for the sharp toothed predator.

Zoo officials described the boy's actions as "unbelievable".

They are considering suing the parents as the boy is too young to be prosecuted.

The attack happened on Wednesday morning after the boy entered the zoo by jumping over the security fence and evading sensor alarms.

Over the next half hour, he bludgeoned some of the animals to death with stones and hurled others over the two fences surrounding the crocodile enclosure.

At one point, he tried scaling the outer enclosure himself to get to "Terry", the 11 ft saltwater crocodile.

A turtle, four Western blue-tongued lizards, two bearded dragons, two thorny devil lizards and the zoo's 20-year-old goanna were among those killed.

Zoo director Rex Neindorf said many of the animals were rare or mature and would be difficult to replace.

"The fact a seven-year-old can wreak so much havoc in such a short time, it's unbelievable," he told Reuters news agency.

It is not sure whether the boy is suffering from any mental illness and now under the investigation of police.

Pig raises tiger cubs

A pig in southern Ukraine has been rearing three tiger cubs who were abandoned by their mother, this has been reported by Ukraine news agency.

The mother lives at a private zoo near to the farm where the cubs reside. There were an earlier instance in Siracha Zoo in Thailand where tiger cubs were made to suckle a pig by the zoo officials when the mother abandoned the babies.

It is not common for tigers to abandon the cubs in the wild, actually they fiercely defend the cubs from other male tigers but in zoo this trend has taken specialists by surprise.

May be too much handling of the cubs by the zoo keepers are not being liked by tigresses and they have decided to give the baby keeping duties to the zoo officials while they can relax.

Who eats Crocodile Meat, Can Anyone Tell Me?

Can you believe that some people in this world are making living out of crocodile farming for crocodile meat? Can there be any more ghastly business one can think of? I want to know who consumes crocodile meat.

I could have posted the images but they are so nauseating that I thought to keep it out of Admanya pages.

The salt water crocodiles are the dirtiest, ugliest, most ghastly animals which is probably the only animal that closely resemble the mythical monster and the very sight of it is so repulsive that I cannot imagine people eating their meat!

Oh my god, I cannot think that I am going to that country to live for 2 years!

Israeli Immigration Performs Dance Check on Abdur-Rahim Jackson

Abdur-Rahim Jackson, a black American dancer with a Muslim first name was made to dance by Israeli airport security staff before they let him into the country.

Abdur-Rahim Jackson, of the Alvin Ailey troupe, was interrogated for an hour at Ben-Gurion airport near Tel Aviv. The airport has one of the tightest security regimes in the world, and any passenger who falls in a negative profile has to face grueling interrogation on the way in and out of Israel.

The Israeli security system is known to be one of the toughest in the world and they show no leniency to anyone which can compromise nation's security interest.

Abdur-Rahim must have been fallen in the negative profile and so the security asked him all sort of questions. He showed security staff his photos in the troupe brochure but to no avail.

The renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre company is at the beginning of a six-nation international tour which includes seven performances in Tel Aviv opening on Tuesday night.

Only after he showed his interrogators few dance moves, the were convinced that he was no Islamic terrorist. Abdur-Rahim had to dance actually two times as they called a renowned Israeli dance master to check out his steps.

It is however not revealed that for how many minutes did Abdur-Rahim danced at the immigration office and what all moves he made. I think there will be immense interest worldwide to know more about this foot loose.
