Sai Baba died at 85, but predicted he will live up to 96 years!

Sathya Sai Baba who died recently at the age of 85 belied the last hopes of his devotees who believed the godman will live for 96 years as he had predicted.

Several of his devotees believed that he would live up to 96 years. Now that he is gone, there are those who now believe he would come back to life. Although Sai Baba further predicted that he will take birth in 2030 in Mysore as Prema Sai but the long gap between the demise of Stahya Sai and rebirth as Prema Sai is worrying the devotees many of whom are from the creme de la creme of the society.

But some street smart devotees are trying to convince that he lived full 96 years as per the lunar calendar. Baba, as he was known to his devotees, also claimed once that he would appear over the moon. Four years ago, word spread among Baba's followers at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh that he will make a "moon appearance" and there was a mad rush to the Puttapurthi air strip to take a look of Baba on the lunar surface but may be it was fortunate for Baba and unfortunate for the devotees that the sky became overcast and cloud cover hid the moon. The devotees had to come back home with a heavy heart.

Sai Baba died 28 days after he was hospitalized at Sathya Sai Super-Speciality Hospital at Puttaparthi in Anantapur district. Although the best medical experts in India and from abroad were flown in to the town during the last three weeks, they could not save his life.

What gave credence to the belief that Sai Baba will live for 96 years among his devotees which included former judges, powerful politicians, bureaucrats and even doctors was that he had "predicted" on several occasions to that effect. Now that he is no more, there are those who claim that he has not actually died but is in a state of meditative sleep (yoga nidra). This is according to the popular Hindu belief that there is no death for incarnations of god.

As a teenager, Sai Baba had claimed to be a reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba, who had reportedly stated before his death in 1918 that he would reappear in the then Madras Presidency eight years later and Sathya Sai Baba proclaimed himself at his age of 14 years that he was indeed the reincarnation of Sirdhi Sai.

Although Sai Baba has several controversies around him including murder and genital oiling of young boys, he did raise a lot of funds from devotees around the world by showing magic (as his critics say) and put the fund to some good causes like charitable healthcare for the poor and free education.

Now, let us wait for Prema Sai and hope the Sathya Sai trust will continue to do the good work as started by Sathya Sai.

Saudi King Abdullah returning to Riyadh after Fleeing Saudi Arabia

Ever heard a red carpet welcome given to a country's own leader?

If you haven't you can see the extensive preparation that is underway to welcome the Saudi king to Saudi Arabia. Arab News reports that the whole of Riyadh is dotted with Saudi national flags and eye-catching banners hailing King Abdullah as a great leader. The flags and banners read: "You are in our hearts - We are happy to extend you a warm welcome following your recovery from illness - Welcome to our king and great leader.ÃÂ¢ÃÂÃÂ Well, so one guesses there is still a doubt among many as whether he is a great leader and that's why the banners are printed to hail him as a great leader so that the King feels good once he returns to his country after more than 3 months!

Very interestingly, Arab News also reports that "There is no official information as to when and where the king will arrive. It is, however, speculated that the monarch will arrive here this week."

So a King's return to his own country where he is being hailed as a "great leader" has to be speculated - nothing can be more amusing than this :)

According to this newspaper, the king underwent a successful surgery on Nov. 24, 2010, at New York's Presbyterian Hospital. God knows whether this is also speculated or a confirmed news item. The King's treatment procedures at New York is also fun to read. According to a statement from the Royal court, a blood clot was removed, a slipped disk was adjusted, and an affected vertebral body was stabilized.

Interestingly, the same King and his yes men take every opportunity to boast about the advanced medical treatment facilities in the country but curiously the Kind had to go to America for such elementary treatment! Even more interesting that the King went to Morocco following his recovery from surgery in later January as he did not find a resting place in whole Saudi Arabia. Luckily for him he did not go to Tunisia or Egypt.

The kind who prefers him to be called as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques could not trust his own country or any other "brotherly" nations for his treatment and even preferred Morocco to the holy soil of Mecca and Madniah for resting post treatment.

Since everything is left for speculation in that country, you can run your imagination as wild as possible why Abduallh took a 3 month break out of his country.

But the funniest piece of the news comes after reading the comment on that news item by the Indian and Pakistani Muslims who are living in that country and often receive third grade treatment. They are in competition in praising the King and even a Wahabi Saudi guy would not use such kind words for the king who is the main responsible for the widespread systemic exploitation an discrimination of workers out of which most of them are fellow Muslims.

This is the true story of the so called protector and custodian of Muslims.

Can the world teach the jerks of Saudi Arabia to behave in a civilised way?

In the holy Islamic month of Ramadan, the jerks of Saudi Arabia create yet another crime against humanity.

A Saudi judge is reported to have asked hospitals if it is possible to cut the spinal cord of the man, found guilty of paralysing another man in a fight. Under the Islamic rules of this holy nation as it claims to be, retribution sentences can include eye-gouging and, for murder, beheading.

Amnesty International has urged Saudi authorities to stop any attempt to medically paralyse a man as a judicial punishment. Amnesty said intentionally paralysing someone would constitute torture.

But the overall Muslim voice is silent and hardly this is reported in the so called "secular" media except in BBC and some western newspapers.

This is unthinkable in a civilized world but the Saudi jerks under the leadership of Abdullah are not at all ashamed. Few months back, the authorities lashed a wheel chair bound paralysed old man and then he turned blind as a result of the inhuman punishment.

But, who is going to bell the cat?

Under the Islamic law, thousands of people are tortured every day around the world in the evil states like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Somalia, Pakistan and Afghanistan but the western leaders are mute spectators.

As long as these crimes will be continued more and more people will be disgusted with this religion of peace. This is certainly not a way to bring peace to the world, by lashing women, stoning people to death and beheading offenders in public.

Where is the Muslim voice? Are they all scared?

Saudi Dreams to Replace GMT with Makkah Time

Arab News, one of the world's most hilarious newspaper reports:

The giant clock of Makkah is all set to tick home a new time standard, as some scholars believe that it will be an ideal alternative to the Greenwich Mean Time.

The Saudi King like his other GCC counterparts is on a record building spree and ordered to build the world's tallest clock tower which also also have the largest clock dial in the world to be built at Mecca - it was fine up to that.

But these "unnamed" and "unknown" scholars gone bonkers even before the clock in inaugurated and have proclaimed that Makkah is at the center of the world and so Makkah Time should and will replace Greenwich Mean Time.

There is no explanation given however 1) why it is an ideal alternative and 2) how come Makkah is at the center of the world?

While these building projects in Saudi and GCC countries are spectacular but it does not go further to improve the image of the country in the world where paralyzed prisoners are lashed and made blind, women are stoned to death for being raped and men are chopped of their limbs and sometimes head for crimes.

The hope of replacing the GMT with Makkah Time is one of the most wild dream for mankind - they should know that the Arabic Calendar is highly flawed as it is the only calendar that could not correctly calculate the days that earth takes to make a trip around the sun.

Is TRAI a private property of father of Sunil Mittal and Anil Ambani?

Can GOI come up with a clarification that TRAI is a private company owned by father of Sunil Mittal and Anil Ambani, as soon as possible to dispel all expectations that the millions of consumer have from this on-paper regulatory government body.

I was shocked to see that the corporate monkeys are deducting Rs. 1.50 paise today for SMS messages, initially I had no clue but my son's freind told that it is because of Friendship Day.

How can these buggers charge me Rs. 1.50 paise, 3 times the normal rate without my consent? What is this Friendship Day? I hav enever heard of this in my life.

Is friendship day now a government holiday in India these days to commemorate the great friendship of Sonia Maino with Quatrocchi or Raul Maino with his Columbian girl friend? Let them have friendship but why the Indian customers are charged 3 times??

What is TRAI doing? TRAI should be immediately dismantled or sold to Mittal and Ambanis and all the salary, charges etc. of these babus should be paid by the mobile companies and not from tax payer's money as they are not at all interested or bothered about telephone consumers, it is just a big waste of tax payer's money to feed these people.

It is such a big scandal that this body which is there for years now and have not so far done a SINGLE THING for the interest of consumers. Is it formed to eyewash people and extract money to transfer to Congress party or Robert Vadra's bank account?

The telephone service is totally stretched out, and quality of service is deteriorating. Call drops, noise, disconnections etc. are rampant and on top of that there is total disregard of privacy and commercial advertisements are sent to DNC numbers including solicitations of love, sex, porno, marriage, dating, caller tunes and so on.

Which business can legitimately charge 3 times from consumers by giving the same or lesser quality of service? India is now run by mafias from Sicily, they have made their bases in New Delhi and every day we are extorted to shell out money thru their agents which are these telecom companies, private banks and other such services.

Belgium pips France in unanimous Ban of Burka

The courageous move By Belgium's lower house of parliament to ban the burka could set the stage for similar moves across western Europe. Nicolas Sarkozy, French president, who has repeatedly said the burka is "not welcome" in his country, has ordered a bill that would forbid its appearance in public places. Similarly politicians in the Netherlands and Italy have pushed for such measures and soon we can see a pan Europe ban of burka in public places.

The country is united behind the righteous ban as Thursday's vote was almost unanimous with 134 MPs in support of the law and two abstentions.

European nations consider burka-type clothing incompatible with basic security, need to combat fraud and to meet the needs of some public services because everyone in public must be recognizable and they offenders will be arrested and veil lifted in a police station before the proceedings are made.

This is a welcome move keeping in view of the security and terror-prone countries like India must also impose such a ban at the earliest.

The ban would be imposed in all buildings or grounds that are meant for public use or to provide services, including streets, parks and sports grounds. Exceptions could be made for certain Islamic festivals and those who break the law could face a fine or a seven-day jail sentence.

Thanks to the law, next time the Belgians won't be dealing with a walking ghost in a public place or meeting. French think it has ramification, more than just security, it is a tool to suppress women and their liberty and so the burka ban is very much indispensable in a civilised liberal society. Those who oppose the ban may consider relocating to Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan or Pakistan.

M F Husain is now a proud Qatari - Wait for a peep show of all Hindu Goddesses

Indian press sadly reports that M F Husain is conferred Qatari citizenship as he has been hounded by Saffron groups and the press along with all secular citizens are unitedly appealing Govt. of India to do whatever possible including changing constitution so that we can stop this great artist taking up citizenship of one of the greatest nations of the world, namely Qatar which is synonymous for democracy, human liberties and religious tolerance.

The Hindu newspaper editorial wrote that his "impending change of nationality brings to a close one of the sorriest chapters in independent India's secular history", after the artist made the announcement in The Hindu newspaper.

Husain is living outside India since 2006, mostly in Dubai, another center of democracy, religious tolerance and ultra liberal art and also known for camel races with tied up children on camel back.

He was forced out of India because some Hindu fanatics objected to his nude paintings of Hindu Goddesses and filed court cases against him for obscenity and hurting religious sentiments, so Husain fled the country to avoid court cases and possible arrest, so that he can continue his art work now focusing mostly on the nude portrayal of Hindu goddesses.

It is known that Husain was awarded the Qatari citizenship after he was commissioned of a sculpture project by the wife of Qatari ruler and most probably Husain will be delighted to accept this great award which can be compared with Nobel prize on art if it existed.

I hope that now Sonia Maino will now do everything to scrap all cases and laws applicable to Husain and persuade him to stay as citizen of India.

But that would be sadly a big loss to the world of art, we can expect a whole series of peep show of all Hindu Goddesses as now the artists is finally in a very safe and liberal place and can continue his art without any chance of nuisance.

But one word of caution for this 95-year old painter, he should limit his experimentation ONLY to Hindu gods and goddesses and should not touch any prophets of the other religion, even he paints them fully and decently clothed, because then the same ruler who awarded him the citizenship will not waste time to chop his head off.

Saudi Arabia bans sale of anything that is RED until after Valentine's Day

Under the guidance of the Custodian of two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia banned sale of anything that is red until after Valentine's Day.

The department of prevention of vices and promotion of virtues were working overtime to raid shops and confiscating anything that is red or may be perceived as a love token, specially flowers, heart shaped objects like pillows and balloons, red wrapping paper, gift boxes, teddy bears and even lingerie. The religious police with their untrimmed free flowing beard was seen everywhere paroling the malls and making sure that the "festival of sin" which promotes immoral relation between unmarried men and women do not take place in the holy land of Islam.

The ban actually shows that the Saudi population does not buy this silly idea as Ahmed Al-Omran, a university student in Riyadh, told CNN that the government decision will give the international media another reason to make fun of the Saudis "but I think that we got used to that by now."

Women are treated as commodity, under Saudi law, women are subject to numerous restrictions, including a prohibition against driving and a requirement that they get a man's permission to travel or have surgery.

A businesswoman told the Times of London this month that she was detained and strip-searched by the religious police for holding a meeting in a coffee shop with male colleagues.

Two years ago, a teenager was raped by seven men who found her alone with a man unrelated to her. The government sentenced the 19-year-old woman to 200 lashes and six months in prison for being in the company of a man who wasn't a family member or her husband. She was later pardoned due to heavy international pressure when the Saudi King was warned. But the seven rapists were sentenced to two to nine years in prison.

Where as cards, roses, chocolates and champagne are the order of the day for lovers worldwide Saudi lovers risk flogging, fine and jail for celebrating Valentine's Day.

But members close to the royal family are taking advantage of the situation and selling flowers in the balak market at 30 to 50 times the regular price, these are bought secretly by Americans and British expat population to whom actually the government lacks the ball to do anything as then Riyadh will be bombed to stone age.

You name any public structure barring urinals or toilets, I think there will be a Gandhi or Nehru name inscribed on it. Some people are even suggesting that the public urinals will also not be spared and any structure built by public money may be compulsorily named after the younger Indo-Italiano Gandhis down the line.

Now the great responsibility is in the shoulder of Mrs Sonia Maino Gandhi to keep the lead in the race and make sure that the Nehru Gandhi Maino family cannot be overtaken by Mugabes or Idi Amins or the House of Saud.

Rahul Gandhi - The Only Shimmering Hope of Poor Indians

After Rahul Gandhi declaring his assets yesterday, the people of India are almost convinced that this man in his late thirties (of Parsi, Kashmiri Pandit and Italian mixed origin) is the only hope for millions of Indians who live below the poverty line.

His declared wealth has increased from 22 lacs in 2004 to a whopping 2.25 crores in just 5 years amidst global economic crisis and downside of realty prices and this ten fold increase of wealth in spite of his unemployed status will put top bosses of Goldman Sachs or Lehman Brothers to shame.

I think he should be made the finance minister no matter which party comes to power as he can guide and lead the millions of poor Indians with his Houdini like wealth maximization formula. India will then become one of the richest nation on earth within a very short time and then he can move on to become prime minister of India as already his seat is being reserved by Sonia Maino.

Mr Gandhi, you are a pure genius and we all Indians understand very clearly as you have said in Amethi that Congress is a pro-poor party and your goal is to eliminate poverty; you are leading by example, we all Indians who are the servants of your family look upon you as the only hope, please don't let us down.

I am sure, Rahul Ji, by 2014, you will make this 2.25 Crores to 200 Crores, we have full faith in you, I think if there be any deficit in the target amount, that can also be made up as Advani Ji has called for bringing back the money from Swiss Bank accounts held by Indians.
