What is the future of West Bengal under Mamata Banerjee?

I am distressed to hear, observe and read the actions and reactions post winning of IPL 20-20 tournament this year by Kolkata Knight Riders.

IPL is nothing more than a club level tournament if the emotive nonsense is set aside. It is an annual private tournament with no sectarian vision leave aside nationalistic one.The intent and content of this tournament is always questionable in the social and legal way with many cultural and financial litigations in its record book. But that is not the objective of my communication in this mail.

West Bengal is reeling under financial bankruptcy and the only hope to save it from future termination is to focus on Work ,Work and Work. I remember when China was under similar condition than the government made comprehensive programme to involve people in work rather than spoiling country's valuable time in Sports, Cultural functions and time wasting manifestations of all kind. That was a superb piece of vision and subsequent planning and implementation did the wonder . The whole world is testimony to that concept.

Yesterday our beloved CM made an utter nonsense by celebrating IPL victory as if this IPL will change the future of over eighty million inhabitants of West Bengal . The finalist Chennai won the same tournament twice yet the; then CM, Mr Karunanidhi didnot bother to highlight the victory as State Victory. Similarly all past winners never did the same.

The question is why our state do the madness on various issues again and again ? Why a person like Shahrukh khan has the guts to ask DIDI to dance? Come on; she is CM and the issue is not nationalistic ! What were all the tollywood nonsense guys were doing there ? Yes they were getting their coverage on all TV channels which will help them in putting Dollars in their pocket. I did not notice people of real substance there; that is at least good for future.

But what about Bengal's average man fortunes ? What about lot of inconvenience hammered on transportation ? What about Time and Money wasted? More important what about investors view? Anyone has a justification then please satisfy me, I am not an educated fellow. Across India people are making joke of West Bengal and regretting that total talent is wasted on such issues.

People like Shah Rukh Khan ,Juhi Chawla ,Sunanda Pushkar and others knows our emotive weakness very well and exploiting us . That is good for them; bad for us !

Tollywood should be banned from state celebrations unless the issues really helps in building Bengal. Congress High Command and Leader of Opposition should raise these nonsense in respective houses as the future of eighty million is pushed to darkness through such fanaticism.

Bengal by Genetics is very emotional ,egoist and work theft. It has great intellect which is utilized in NON WORKING rather than working. If you ask a common man to work in office /shop and establishment for extended hours; he will feel stressed and resist any such move . However the same man will work enthusiastically if asked for entertainment cause; be it sports, puja pandal or in tolly studio. Exceptions are however there.

Present government knows fully well that they cannot solve major problems of the state and the people will scold them even before next elections . So they are diverting the attentions from real issues of JOB CREATIONS , INDUSTRIALISATION ,DEBT REDUCTION AND GROWTH CREATIONS by bringing in emotive issues and highlighting the portrait of present CM. This is devastating for the next generation and suicidal for present one. People will understand my concern only if they come out of the circle of EGO and EMOTION and establish the way for logical thinking.

Many of you might remember that my predictions before last elections have gone correct in many ways and see how Railways was stripped of Cash reserves after Mr Lalu Yadav era. Mr Dinesh Trivedi was correcting the wrong done by his predecessor and the obvious followed.

I will quote Einesteni, "If you continue to do work in same way, your result will be same". Government is not changing its way of working and the result is not difficult to predict.

May good senses prevail ; I can only pray to God; knowing fully well that the future will continue to worsen unless a revolution comes,a revolution in thoughts, actions and vision is the imperative for this hour.

My mind body and soul will dance only when Bengal reinvents, restructures and reaffirms its past glory.

Requesting everyone to come forward in stopping this NON SENSE Celebration.

Washington Post Slams Mamata Banerjee

She spent her life fighting communists but is the biggest obstacle to economic liberalization in India today. She is the leader of a small regional party but wields more power than the prime minister.

Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of the state of West Bengal, is a rising force in Indian politics, and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton paid a special visit to Kolkata this month to meet her.

The 57-year-old Banerjee - determined, resolutely populist and hardworking, yet eccentric and intolerant of dissent - holds the balance of power in India's coalition government and has used that political might to huge effect.

Time after time, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's efforts to introduce economic reforms have foundered because of Banerjee's opposition. Time magazine recently listed her among the world's 100 most influential people, and 25 out of 50 CEOs surveyed by a leading Indian newspaper last week said she was the biggest stumbling block to economic growth.

Banerjee is the personification of a fundamental change that is transforming Indian politics: the declining vote share of the country's two main political parties and the rising influence of regional parties.

To some, she also personifies a fear that politics will fragment to such an extent that India becomes almost ungovernable, that populists pandering to local interests will block important policy decisions.

"We are not Marxist or capitalist, we are for the poor people,"she said in her first major interview with a foreign newspaper. "Our policy is very clear: whatever policy will suit the people, whatever policy will suit the circumstances, whatever policy will suit my state."

Nicknamed "Didi," or elder sister, Banerjee wrested power last May from a communist government that had ruled the state of West Bengal for 34 years. But she has been no better for business and investment than her predecessors were, to the dis-appointment of those who had hoped that the vanquishing of the communists from their biggest foothold in the country would help revitalize eastern India. On the national stage, she holds just 19 seats in the 543-seat Parliament but wields immense influence.

In October, Singh's government announced a long-promised reform: Foreign supermarket chains such as Wal-Mart would be allowed in. Just 12 days later, worried about the future of small shopkeepers in her state, Banerjee forced the government to back down.

To protect the poor, she has blocked attempts to raise gas prices, despite huge subsidies that are bleeding government finances, and overturned a small increase in railway fares. She opposes legislation that would open the country's banking, insurance and pension sectors to more foreign investment.

Yet in what may have been shrewd diplomacy, or a sign of a genuine personal rapport, Clinton embraced her warmly. A "remarkable" experience, the secretary of state said of their hour-long discussion, which was characterized as "warm, vibrant and energetic."

Clinton talked of the "common bond" she shares with women who have broken through barriers of discrimination and braved the fire of electoral politics. Indeed, Banerjee claims to be the only woman who has risen to political power in South Asia without being the widow, orphaned daughter or former girlfriend of an established leader.

--
source: article written by Simon Denyer published in Washington Post on May 21, 2012

Bengal's Brand Ambassador Shahrukh Khan gets Drunk and Beat Up Staff at Wankhade

One can only praise the choice of the honorable chief minister of West Bengal, Ms. Mamata Banerjee for making Shahrukh Khan as West Bengal's brand ambassador.

Bengal which produced stalwarts and luminescent like Rammohan Roy, Tagore, Jagdish Bose, Vivekananda, Ramakrishna, Bankin Chandra Chattopadhaya, Sarat Chatterjee, Jagdish Bose, Satyen Bose, Subhas Bose (during the renaissance and pre-independence period) and in recent times cultural icons like Ravi Shankar, Satyajit Ray, Uday Shankar etc, is now resorting to Shahrukh Khan to project its brand - nothing can be more pathetic than this.

Mr. Khan now is in his sunset years has left hardly anything behind that can be labelled as culture or heritage. Barely few months back this man got drunk in a ex-gangster's birthday bash and beat up the husband of a Bollywood colleague. Again, yesterday night after his franchise KKR winning against Mumbai Indians, Khan forcefully entered Wankhdae ground without authorization with about 30 kids and misbehaved, manhandled and abused the MCA security men and officials - he was drunk and the ACP Mumbai has gone publicly on record that Mr. Khan was smelling alcohol.

The film actor has become very arrogant in recent times and has shown scant disregard for laws and etiquette. He was seen smoking many a times during IPL matches, something which is not only banned but also distasteful and outrageous in the context of a sport.

But Mamata Banerjee feels that Khan is the perfect role model for people of Bengal and this man can best project Bengal to other states. Proabably, Khan shares the culture of TMC cadres and that's why the honorable chief minister finds him the best man for branding West Bengal.

Mamata makes a Swiss Transaction with Ramakrishna Mission to balance Imam Deal

Mamata Banerjee in a bid to secure Muslim votes in the upcoming panchayat elections went ahead suo muto to strike a historic Imam Deal a few days ago in Kolkata.

In the tradition of Maa, Maati and Manush government, Miss Banerjee dramatically announced that the state will be providing a monthly stipend of Rs 2,500 for 30,000 Imams in Bengal and assorted other facilities like housing schemes and funds for education of their children.

But alas, the Islamists are not feeling gratified after this unprecedented gesture of a secular state and as per reports within hours after the announcement, Shahi Imam of Tipu Sultan Masjid, when asked of the annunciation, stated categorically, "We were expecting that the remuneration of imams to be around Rs 20,000. Since the CM has sougt our feedback, we will request her to raise it to Rs 10,000 at least."

Abdul Qayyum Biswas, a rough-cut imam from North 24-Parganas, said, "What can Rs 2,500 fetch? We were promised the moon and then asked to be happy with a paltry sum," Maulana Tausiqui Hussain was found to mention an earlier assurance made by Trinamool minister Mukul Roy. "At a meeting in Haj House, he had promised that the remuneration would be to the tune of Rs 20,000, this announcement has come as a disappointment to us."

What Mamata can do now is to be seen very curiously as the unnecessary generosity may quite boomerang and the Muslim dissatisfaction can only grow. The politics of appeasement is like playing with fire and her government has to answer serious questions as why clergymen of other religion will not be also given stipend from government unless she declares West Bengal as the country's first Islamic state.

This may happen sometime later as the end game strategy but in the meantime, Miss Banerjee has embraced Islam 99% as per my observation (just like she feels that she has done 99% of the work as promised in her manifesto) and she has also appealed to citizens of other faith to lead life in an Islamic way like fasting during ramzan etc.

Although she won because of the Muslim votes as Muslims did not vote for CPI(M) but somebody must have reminded her that she should not totally ignore the Hindus at this stage and that's why within 2 days of the historic Imam Deal, Mamata literally barged into Belur Math and made a swiss transaction with the Ramakrishna Mission order. She was photographed grinning with Ramakrishna Mission President Swami Atmasthananda and the latter holding a Lindt dark chocolate bar (containing 99% cocoa)!

A press release from the Ramakrishna Mission revealed that Mamata Banerjee promised a 1 Crore donation to the order for renovation and development. The Imam Deal stands counterbalanced by the Swiss transaction.

Mamata Banerjee and her party continue their goondaraj in West Bengal. Trinamool Congress faced the latest controversy when a bodyguard of the party MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar urinated on a Calcutta High Court lawyer in Rajdhani Express.

The lawyer filed an official complaint but could not take the guard's name as he (the bodyguard) threatened the lawyer and his client with service revolver.

Aryak Dutta, the lawyer has been quoted as saying, "I was going to Allahabad with a client. The man occupying berth 19 said he was Dastidar's security guard. He said the MP was in an AC-I coupe."

Mr Dutta woke up when he heard some noise in the wee hours and found the guard urinating on his client. "The policeman was standing nearby, drunk. He was urinating on my client who was on the lower berth. My client cried out and I pushed the policeman lightly. He lost his balance but straightened up and continued to urinate on his legs and my luggage," said Mr Dutta.

Mr Dutt's client, who got irritated with the incident, tried to compel the drunk policeman to clean the place but citing the revolver in his (the guard's) hand, the lawyer advised his client not to indulge in any kind quarrel.

Meanwhile, Kolkata Railway police denied any involvement of policeman in the case as officials stated, "We haven't yet seen the complaint as the train has not yet returned from New Delhi. We have spoken to the train staff and they confirmed a complaint was lodged. We don't know whether he was a policeman. He was registered as an attendant to the MP. It is alleged that he misbehaved with other passengers."

The Trinamool MP, however, refused to receive any calls regarding the issue but later on Monday, Mar 19, she sent a SMS saying, "nothing happened." However, Allahabad GRP sources confirmed that an official complaint has been lodged by a Rajdhani passenger.

Mamata Banerjee is an Illiterate, Mad Despot says Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon

Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, chairman and MD of Biocon Limited of Bangalore came out strongly against TMC chief and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday, tweeting that her party was going to be a "bane" for West Bengal.

"Mamta is a dangerous, populist demagogue: economically illiterate but politically astute --deadly combo!" Shaw tweeted.

"Mamta is a sad reflection on just how feudal our society and culture is - talk of human rights!" she added.

Kinran continued, "Yielding to Mamta n showing Trivedi the door is a very sad day for Indian politics --UPA Govt is in office but not in power. Mamta is behaving like a mad despot. Political leadership is in deficit with such irrational behaviour that can only harm the poor."

Dinesh Trivedi has come out with a well thought out railway budget but shot down by a thoughtless interfering despotic Mamta Bannerji.

Meanwhile, entrepreneur Rahul Bajaj took on the West Bengal chief minister, saying, "It was a very bold budget and he is a brave man to take such a tough call of increasing fares after ten years. I would have wished to see him around as the Railways Minister. However, it is very unfortunate that his own party is now distancing him."

"It is not a happy situation," Rahul Bajaj added.

Derek O'Brien, the TMC MP was seen yesterday defending Mamata's decision at the Newshour with Arnab Goswami. Derek was very entertaining with his defense and said that increasing railway fare is against the DNA of TMC as it will hit poorest of the poor. The clown spokesman of TMC does not know that as long as we will have leaders like Mamata Banerjee, the poorest of poors can only travel without ticket!

Mamata Banerjee Conducts Bengal's First Opera at TMC's First Brigade Rally

Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal who came to power in May this year converted Trinamool Congress's 21st July Martyr Day into the First ever opera in the history of Bengal.

It was unfortunate that the Brigade Rally record of assembly could not be broken as it was widely anticipated. Only about 2-3 Lacs of TMC supporters braved inclement weather to come to the historic Brigade Parade Ground to express solidarity with the martyrs. But instead they witnessed the Bengal's first opera conducted by the lady almost extempore!

It appeared that the primary focus was to pay respect to the film fraternity comprising of Ranjit Mallick, Dipanker De, Tapas Pal, Deboshree Roy, Satabdi Roy, Chiranjeet, Prasenjit, his father once Bollywood's No. 1 hero Biswajit and some other sundries along with some pet group of artists and filmmakers like Shuvaprasanna, Samir Aich, Horonath Ckaraborty who were all greeted by Mamata Banerjee on arrival and then offered some muffler kind of a stuff with a gift set. Then Mamata played the role of a MC cum conductor of the Opera and called each one of them on stage and requested them to say something, or recite some poem or even some film dialogues.

One singer called Nachiketa sang a song and I could not identify the accompanying guitarist but certainly he can give Eric Clapton a run for his money. It was a wonderful mega show and the Indian Cinema's first ever item girl Deboshree Roy of "Kolkata'r Roshogolla" fame also gave a hip swaying performance accompanied by some Rabindra Sangeet.

Mamata's love for tinseltown actors, artists and poets was at peak and she ignored all other ministers of her cabinet but was very affectionate towards West Bengal's higher education minister Bratya Basu who is also a theater artist. Biswajeet, put his own lyrics into a song of the legendary Sachin Dev Burman and sang few notes and who can tell that we were observing a martyr's day.

There was no question of remembering the martyrs (hooligans who were killed in police firing when they were vandalizing public property) or observing a minute's silence or anything of that sort generally done to remember the dead. It was a thanksgiving ceremony of a bunch of aging Toolywood stars who are almost forgotten.

The people were becoming increasingly impatient as they were prepared to hear from Mamata and not prepared for the maiden opera that unfolded in Brigade ground. So Mamata herself took the mike and scolded the supporters who were getting impatient and even threatened that she will go back home if they are not behaving properly.

Finally the showbiz came to an end as all the stars and celebrities were fully utilized, some sang, some danced, some recited poems and some just showered praise for the chief minister and then finally she took the dais to speak to the public.

She thanked the Maa, Maati and Manush for the historic victory and told how she has already solved the problems of hills (Gorkhaland) and jangalmahal (Maoists) in just 60 days. Also she mentioned that the promise of returning land to farmers of Singur (where the Nano factory was supposed to be built) was in an advanced stage.

The she gave some instructions to the people which were very crisp and clear although some of them may be startling to many.

1. She advised all to practice roja with the Muslim brothers in the holy month of Ramjan starting August, she stressed the point 3 times.

2. To play Rabindra sangeet (Tagore's song) during 7th, 8th and 9th August all over Bengal to commemorate his day of demise.

3. Asked the opposition communists to not to open their mouth for 10 years, don't utter a word she said and it will keep you in good health.

4. Whenever someone is passing by a hospital, one should pick up a broom and clean the hospital entrance and yard.

5. In general, imbibe the thinking of Rabindranath and Nazrul in daily life.

In addition she said that she is going to upgrade the 10,000 madrasas in Bengal and help them financially, make Urdu the 2nd language in Muslim dominated areas and was short of suggesting to play 1 Narulgeeti for every 2 Rabindrasangeet played.

Rizanul's mother was the only non-film attraction of the Opera and the lady read out in Urdu from a script praising Mamata and calling her a "beti".

The opera ended with the Chief Minister delivering a rap like performance uttering slogans of Trinamul and mixing them with the names of Tapash Pal, Deboshree Roy and Satabdi Roy. The supporters slowly returned to their homes hoping that next time Didi will be able to break the record of assembly in brigade rally organized by communists leaders like Pramod Dasgupta, Jyoti Basu and Biddhadeb Bhattacharjee.

Mamata Banerjee - All Gimmicks and no Business

It will be one week tomorrow after Mamata Banerjee has sworn in as the chief minister of West Bengal but so far is there any real business undertaken apart from some cheap gimmicks?

Since Mamata has completely demolished the left parties in the poll, they are yet not able to garner courage to point out to the common public about Mamata's gimmick and the lack of seriousness in running state affairs. She is still in the campaign mode and probably she is not able to come to terms that she is already the CM.

I have no complains if she does not want to take a convoy but can a CM afford to take a 2 hour journey to and from from her residence to the office everyday, that is the practical question that public should ask. Her erratic behavior is simply putting the security forces in a tizzy.

What good she did by suddenly stopping at the SSKM? Has the work culture of SSKM changed overnight? Was there any follow up actions or did any heads roll? The answer is a big NO. Nothing has changed at SSKM.

It is also surprising to see that Mr. Shovandev Chattopadhyay, Mayor of Kolkata always with Mamata Banerjee, either in the rear seat of her Santro or behind her when she is addressing the press. Has he been absolved from his duties as mayor of Kolkata Corporation or Mamata has also taken up Mayor's job along with her 8 portfolios that she kept with herself?

Mamata Banerjee has granted 15 crores for the development of Lal Dighi, a tank just in front of Writer's Building as a beautification project and probably that is the first step to convert Kolkata into London! Somebody from his cabinet also commented that it is a quite an easy task (turning Kolkata into London) as the city was originally planned by the British who also made London, what an irrefutable logic! Now, if she is really so caring about "Ma, Mati and Manush" then she could have put this money into the development of health centers in some districts or interior parts of Bengal and 20 health centers could have got some basic equipments and beds with that money instead of upgrading a water tank in the midst of the polluted city.

The corruptions of TMC will soon come into the light, just we have to wait for few more months. The portfolio of ministers was largely distributed (with some exceptions) based on investments made into TMC party and now most of the ministers will reap the harvest. It is an open secret that people like Javed Khan helped Trinamool Congress with money and so he was handed the disaster handling department and I hope they are praying for a flood or drought which will be the ideal scenario to reap a good harvest.

I would be thankful if anybody can show me one pro-people or good-governance act that Mamata has done in her first 7 days in office... except some cheap publicity gimmicks.

The latest is that Mamata will be now entering into a secret deal with Pranab Mukherjee for a large central grant for the state, in return Pranab's son will be propped up and it will be none other than Mamata Banerjee who will make sure Pranab Da's son does not flop in politics. Needless to say, the money will be generously distributed among cabinet colleagues but Mamata will continue to live in the semi-slum type house and wear Bata hawai chappals.

Welcome to the good-governance of Ma-Mati-Manush.

Mamata Banerjee - Myth, Hype and Reality and The Future of West Bengal

As a communist I have no problems to congratulate Mamata on the eve of the day when the first woman chief minister of West Bengal will take oath in Raj Bhavan but I feel that a lot of myth and hype has shrouded the lady and the reality cannot be hidden for a long time.

Who is Mamata Banerjee?

To a person who has seen her from the days of early 80s, she is nothing a but an unpredictable and highly emotional political leader without any real agenda. Her sole agenda was to unseat the Left from power which she has been able to do because of her focus but after defeating the Left she is completely goal less.

Does she really lead a simple life?

Well, she is a person who tries to prove to masses that being well-off and well groomed is sort of a sin and so she wears a hawai chappal and simple cotton sarees as if that will solve the problem of poverty. This is nothing but hypocrisy and if she really is so unconcerned about her appearance then can she tell why she regularly dies her hair jet black? Does she have a problem to accept that graying is a natural process and she is over 50 now, no longer a young woman who once climbed on the bonnet of Jai Prakash Narayan's car to perform a "Tandava Nritya".

Is it not symbolism and trying to show that she is a poor person that she still lives in the semi slum area of Kalighat in a tiled roof house whereas she conducts her election campaigns in helicopters mainly. May be it will give her an excuse for not doing anything to raise the standard of living of poor and lower middle class people and getting their votes.

What a smart tactics!

We have heard that she is the poorest minister and has only got 1 Lac as bank balance, not sure whether it is now up by 2.5 crores as it was reported that she sold her art of that amount in a 3 day exhibition held recently. The funniest thing is that there was so much of demand that she did not sleep during those three nights and just kept on painting to feed to the demand. But still we will call her an artist giving the full benefit of doubt :)

Many politicians in India has benami properties and it is surprising that no one is talking about Mamata's four brothers who all are sitting on heaps on money, can we talk about the occupation of her brothers and their life styles?

But there is a danger that more we ask these questions, more the myth that is been carefully crafted about Mamata will be shattered and the stark reality will come out in front of our naked eyes.

She is undoubtedly the most partisan railway minister India ever had and misused the railway ministry fund to give full page advertisements in all leading dailies of West Bengal almost every day before the elections on the plea of laying foundation stones for railway projects. God only knows how many of them will be ever actually carried out.

Her so called pro-poor policies of not increasing fare are forcing Indian Railways to give 3rd grade service. Even the prestigious trains like Rajdhani Express have now the same ambience like her Kalighat area, filled with filth and absence of any comfort. The Railway catering is almost unpalatable and the entire system of Indian Railways was degraded during her regime (and will continue to do so as she is putting a puppet from her party to run the railways).

The Future of Bengal

Mamata is a one woman show (she will call it a "one man show"), TMC is the most autocratic political parry and there is no place of any democracy. You will see that all these economists and quiz masters will soon be side tracked and the party will be eventually run by ex-Congress gangsters and hooligans of Kalighat.

There is already revenge killings that have started in all over West Bengal and it is shocking to see that TMC workers are recovering arms, how that is possible that unarmed disciplined cadres are recovering weapons from armed people of another party? These are nothing but dirty tricks to malign the communist and put non-bailable cases against communist part workers.

Under Mamata the West Bengal can descend into a complete anarchy as she has little experience of administration. She is already a laughing stock and can become a huge hit to the media when she opens her mouth. She wanted the blessings of Sonia whom she once fought and came out of Congress forming Trinamool but now she is running after the same lady almost begging her to come to the oath function but Sonia did not oblige.

Let us not forget that the same person once used a forged doctorate degree from a phony US university and used to write Dr. Mamata Banerjee which tells the integrity of the person. So how many of you expect a resurrection or a renaissance of Bengal under Mamata? You must be dreaming.

She will be lucky if she can complete the full term and West Bengal will deteriorate under TMC rule.

Stephen Hawking endorses Marxism

The world renowned scientist Stephen Hawking has dismissed heaven as a "fairy story for people afraid of the dark".

His declaration endorses the view of Karl Marx who found religions as a significant hindrance to reasoning and therefore intervenes with social development.

Hawking insisted that, rather than advance to an afterlife, people's brains switch off like "broken-down computers" when they die.

He admitted his views were partly influenced by his long battle with motor neurone disease, which has left him wheelchair-bound.

He said yesterday: "I have lived with the prospect of an early death for the last 49 years. I'm not afraid of death, but I'm in no hurry to die. I have so much I want to do. I regard the brain as a computer that will stop working when its components fail."

"There is no heaven or afterlife for broken-down computers - that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark." Hawking, author of 1988 international best-seller A Brief History of Time, was diagnosed with the disease at 21 and speaks via a voice synthesiser.

Last year he claimed with mathematical certainty that the universe was not created by God. Hawking has achieved worldwide fame for his research, writing and television documentaries.

The communist idea and philosophy is again coming to the fore front and people are again slowly realizing that the days of communism are far from over.

Red salute to Hawking!
