Do you support conversion to Islam or any other religion? I had an interesting chat with one friend, I clicked on an ad showing in Admanya - Convert to Islam - online help and this is the transcript below:
Are not conversion illegal in India? Then why these ads are appearing in Admanya?? -- Zia: Hello. Welcome to our live chat. I didn't understand what is the official time though, anyway it was interesting, instead of using internet to advance education, liberty of women, human rights etc. House of Saud is using it for conversion to Islam.

Holy Mackerel!!! This is something which will go far! Quite a hi-tech approach from Saudi, yes I even saw the ad sometime in Admanya but never clicked.

Islam is no religion it's a political ideology to bring in more converts and rule the world . Islam has systematically silenced it's critics in its history by cold bloodedly murdering them. Thanks to Internet which has opened up a channel to speak fearlessly and reach millions. Keep up the noble work brother Singh !

Interesting that these type of ads are placed in a social networking site where conversion is such a sensitive issue in India.

There is no concept of conversion or baptism in Hinduism or religions close to Hinduism like Sikhism, Buddhism and Jainism while Islam and Christianity openly seek conversion which is the root cause of problem around the issue of conversion in India, Admanya should not carry out these ads.

OK, but why Google is serving these ads? They have become pious too, porno or erotic ads are not acceptable by Google but they are fine with religious conversion, strange! People need erotica more than religion, let's not be hypocrite!

A person can embrace any religion at his/her free will but any kind of conversion attempt or agenda cannot be supported. @ bigman, the religion of Islam is used as a political agenda by some people, there are 2 groups, 1) autocratic immoral rulers of some Islamic nations like Saudi, Libya etc. and 2) terrorists and there is an underground nexus between them. Both benefit by beating the drums of Islam but they are the people who make maximum violations of the religion. The only solution is education and democracy. Also the people of these country need international support, not for oil or some economic benefit but true support so that they can live a free life.
