Bhagvad Gita parayana! unique celebrations in Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple.
Bhagwan Adi Shankaracharya's Jayanthi is observed on Vaisakha Shukla Panchami, that is the fifth day in the first half of Vaishaka Month. Every year, the Swakula Sali Community & Sri Saila Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple celebrates the occassion in a unique way by conducting a Samoohika (Group) Parayana of the great and holy BHAGVAD GITA!!!. Like wise, this year too the Gita parayana was held. A large number of devotees took part in the Akhanda Parayana of the holy Bhagvat Gita. The parayana was concluded with Maha Mangalarthi and Prasad. The Prasad was sponspored by Matrubai Khandappa and Brothers (grandsons of Matrubai Khandappa Nanjundappa). Regards, Srikanth Matrubai.
