Why Bangaloreans are keeping PIT BULL TERRIERS to attack and kill? Expose them! I was shocked to read in TOI today that more and more Bangaloerans are looking for a particular breed of dog as their pet.

This is no ordinary dog, it has the worst temperament and it is the dog which attacks and kills. Just google "pit bull terrier attacks" and you would be horrified to see the mauling done by this beast.

This dog is banned in UK and in many states of US, but in Bangalore the population is growing, it is estimated that more tan 600 pit bull terrier are in Bangalore, ready to "attack and kill", they even turn to their owners. But Bangalore authorities seem to be sleeping until few mauling happen in broad day light.

And the news story is not false, just today I saw one dog and I quickly recognized from the photo publishes by Times of India, cascading kudos to them.

This dog is banned in any kind of dog show in India and in many countries, I am just clueless why this breed is becoming favorites in "namma bengaluru"?!

Let us expose the owners, why they need to keep such a ferocious dog that is infamous for fatal atatcks? What is the reason? What are they guarding? There seems to be a very high demand and the puppies are selling at 35,000!

PLEASE BEWARE, STAY AWAY, BE CAREFUL, WARN YOUR FAMILY AND LOVED ONES AND SPECIALLY CHILDREN, BECAUSE THIS IS A BEAST, THEY KNOW ONLY TO 'ATTACK AND KILL".

Really don't know why people have to keep such aggressive dogs, there were also some attacks by pit bull reported in Australia, they attack and kill other dogs too :( I don't think such a dog can give happiness or love to a family, it should be banned or at least severely restricted.

Unfortunately, Pit Bulls have a bad reputation because of some mean people who have abused their dogs and trained them to be aggressive. Pit Bulls are actually very stable, intelligent, and highly trainable. They are strong athletic dogs, and they require a guardian who is responsible and will give them plenty of exercise and training. They are very loving and loyal and make excellent animal companions.

Pit Bulls are heroes! America's first war dog was a Pit Bull named Stubby. He earned several medals during World War I and was honored at the White House. The Ken-L-Ration dog hero of 1993 was a Pit Bull named Weela. She saved 30 people, 29 dogs, 13 horses and a cat during a flood in Southern California. A Pit Bull named Bogart saved a four-year-old child from drowning in a swimming pool in Florida. Dixie, the Pit Bull, was inducted into the Georgia Animal Hall of Fame after she saved some children from a Cottonmouth snake.
